How do I add medications to my inventory?

Tap the "+" button on the home screen. You can add medications by scanning barcodes, taking photos, or manual entry. The app will automatically identify medication information and record expiration dates.

How do expiration alerts work?

MedCabinet automatically sends notification alerts 3 months before your medications expire, giving you plenty of time to decide whether to repurchase.

How do I share my medication inventory with family?

Enable iCloud sync in Settings, and your medication inventory will automatically sync across all family members' devices using the same Apple ID.

Where is my data stored?

All your data is stored locally on your device by default. If iCloud sync is enabled, data is encrypted and stored in your iCloud account. We do not store any user data on our servers.

How do I export my medication list?

Select "Export Data" in Settings. You can export your medication inventory as PDF or CSV format, convenient for insurance claims or doctor consultations.
